This winter, South Texas RV parks are full leaving many Winter  Texans with little options as they return to their favorite parks of resorts  fall and spring.  Our loyal Winter  Texans returning for the warm climate and southern hospitality are being
challenged to find a place to stay.

The reason, Eagle Ford Shale an oil and gas project amassing   hundreds of thousands of acres from the South Texas border extending over 400   miles in length and over 50 miles wide (Eagle Ford Shale map ). Small towns in Texas where deer season was once the  biggest population increase that the locals looked forward to are now booming  with BIG dollars and deeper pockets of Oil and Gas exploration companies.   These companies have brought on  such an economic impact to such towns that ALL RV parks and hotels are 100%  occupied and have waiting lists.  Subsequently, empty fields have been turned into TV parks overnight and towns are building hotels that the room capacity will far exceed the population  of the towns themselves.

Call before you come!  Book now and book for next year too! This project is going to last  year. Texas Lakeside RV Resort in Port Lavaca, Texas , under construction now will have sites available  beginning in December. The clubhouse, cable TV and Wi-Fi, swimming pool, hot tub and laundry will still be under construction and there are discounted  construction rates being offered.
